Probably Gouda, 18th century and later
The wooden 'stoel' flanked to each side by a shaped and pierced ear, the later polychrome painted iron dial with alarm setting disc, pierced gilt lead ornaments to the top with the coat-of-arms of the city of Gouda, the two-train movement between three brass strips and spirally turned colum-shaped supports, verge escapement, countwheel strike and alarm on bell above; pendulum, one large and two small weights
