LATE TANG/EARLY NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 10TH CENTURY
The bowl has flared, rounded sides that are formed as five petals, and is covered inside and out with a clear glaze that falls short of the knife-trimmed foot to expose the fine white body.
4 7/8 in. (12.5 cm.) diam.
