A CARVED SEMI-OPAQUE YELLOW GLASS GU-FORM VASE
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The trumpet-shaped neck and spreading foot are carved with wide bands of upright and inverted overlapping leaf tips, and with decorative borders at the rims, while the rounded middle section is carved with taotie masks alternating with chilong. The base is incised with a Qianlong four-character mark within a square. The glass is of rich, deep egg yolk-yellow color.
