Lot Essay

The crests are for Hawke and Harvey ensigned by a baron's coronet for Edward, 3rd Baron Hawke (1774-1824) of Towton, Yorkshire
Edward Hawke on his marriage to Frances Anne in 1798 assumed the additional surname and arms of Harvey.
