The drum case with graduated leaf-capped scrolls to the canopied vase finial, supported on a breakfront platform with griffin and sunburst mask to the underside; the white enamel 8 inch dial with inner concentric calendar ring; the five pillar three-train movement with dead beat escapement, Brocot regulation and quarter strike to two bells, the back plate signed 'BOXELL, BRIGHTON 4589'
