Lot Essay

Seyir (In transit) is a comprehensive word in Turkish; means journey, watching and daydreaming. The Seyir series is the result of over two years of the artist's journeys, research and observations.

This series comprises of works which move uneasily along the digital image production as an extension of the history of digital culture and new forms of photographic expression. Ahirkapi is a new stop in Seyir; a step, a journey to the cities, which are gazed from afar. It is an anthology of Durusoy's photographs in which he stretches the limits and questions the relations of space, perspective and the subject.
