JAIPUR, NORTH INDIA, CIRCA 1900
Of octagonal form with hinged lid with bevelled edges, the top decorated with a diamond-set rosette issuing four similar leaves on red enamelled ground, the edges of the lid with small leaf and triangle motifs, the sides of the box with a series of enamelled birds against white ground, the underside of the lid with similar design within green border, the underside of the box with a red quatrefoil filled with and surrounded by leaves and flowerheads, small losses to the enamels on the underside
