Including poetry in praise of Shah Tahmasp, Persian manuscript on ivory paper, 75ff. as numbered plus 5 fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of neat black nasta'liq arranged in two columns with double gold intercolumnar rule, text panels laid down between gold and polychrome rules on wide gold-speckled borders, spaces left for headings, opening bifolium with elegant gold and polychrome illumination surrounding 7ll. of text, some wormholing and marginal repairs, in later Qajar lacquer binding decorated with floral motifs, the front board dated AH 1242, the back board signed ya 'Ali, the doublures with single narcissus bloom on red ground, spine replaced
