Arabic and Persian manuscript on paper, 183ff. plus 2 fly-leaves, each folio with 18ll. of small black naskh within gold and blue rules, catchwords, sura headings in larger gold naskh, 'ashr marked in red and gold naskh in the margins, bold marginal roundels in polychrome and gold marking juz' and sajda, opening bifolium with gold and polychrome illumination surrounding 7ll. of black naskh, possibly added colophon dated and surrounded by 2ll. of red text on blue ground with yellow scrolling vine, colophon followed by a single folio of falnama, some waterstaining and owner's notes in the margins, in brown morocco, flap decorated with stamped gilt central medallion and spandrels with floral design, plain doublures
