A description of the qualities of the Prophet and the Caliphs, Turkish manuscript on paper, 310ff. as numbered plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of black naskh script arranged in two columns between black-ruled gold divisions, titles in gold or red naskh script in cartouches, text within black-ruled gold frame, catchwords, opening bifolium with finely illuminated gold and polychrome headpiece and illuminated panels, with numerous seal impressions of Hajji 'Uthman Hajji Muhammad Agha Bek Waqifdar dated AH 1211, with a double page illustration of a religious procession with standards, the lower half entirely defaced, colophon signed and dated, with old repairs, in Ottoman 17th century gilt morocco binding with flap stamped with floral medallions
