A LARGE ENGRAVED COPPER BOTTLE
POSSIBLY DECCAN, INDIA, 18TH CENTURY
Of rounded form on plain base, the tall slightly flaring neck with globular element at base, the engraved decoration with a register of half-medallions with floral design, some with confronted birds around the shoulder, each issuing a trefoil pointing downward, bands of floral arabesques above, the spout elegantly carved with panels of lotus sprays, small dents to the body, the lid lacking, otherwise in good condition
