A RARE PALE CELADON JADE 'MARRIAGE' BOWL
18TH CENTURY
The bowl is boldly carved to the interior with three carp swimming freely amidst lingzhi branches and other plants. The exterior is finely carved with mandarin ducks on a lotus pond. The bowl is supported on four short feet, and the sides are carved with monster-mask handles supporting loose rings. The stone is of a soft pale green tone.
