A WHITE JADE-EMBELLISHED WHITE-METAL VASE
THE JADE INSETS, 18TH CENTURY
The metal vase is of baluster form and is applied with a white jade plaque to either side. The jade plaques are finely carved with a caparisoned elephant and are of an even white tone. The handles are applied with white jade belt fittings, each finely carved with a small boy on a hobby-horse.
