A SMALL SPINACH-GREEN JADE CENSER AND COVER

The censer is finely carved with two archaistic taotie masks, with three feet and two loose-ring handles in the form of Buddhist lions. The cover is decorated with three further taotie masks, surmounted by a finial modelled as an open-form flower. The semi-translucent stone is of a mottled green tone with darker and paler flecks throughout.
