A CELADON JADE 'BUDDHIST LION' WATER POT AND COVER

The recumbent lion is carved with the head turned facing one side with its cub clambering over the back, its bushy tail swept over the hind quarters, and the small cover with a further lion finial. The stone is of a greyish tone with a small brownish area.
