The tripartite blade issues from the waist of Mahakala, with nagas and snakes meandering down each side towards the tip. The figure with all six arms outstretched and holds various implements.

Acquired by the current owner from an Austrian collector, whose collection was formed in the second half of the 20th century, between 1970 and 1980.
