A FINELY ENAMELLED PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE 'BOY' BOWLS
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS IN IRON-RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
Each bowl is delicately enamelled around the exterior with a continuous scene depicting a young boy standing with one hand covering his ear and the other arm out-stretched to light a fire-cracker placed on a rock, beside a flowering prunus tree growing on verdant ground and beneath a pair of magpies in flight.
