QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-95)
The incense burner has twin upright handles and a domed cover with gilt finial and openwork gilded panels. It rests on three supports with monster-head terminals. The bulbous body is decorated with elegantly scrolling foliage and lotus heads below a broad band of ruyi heads enclosing bats.
