A BLUE AND WHITE 'DRAGON' SAUCER DISH
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The shallow dish is decorated to the interior with a central medallion enclosing a five-clawed dragon writhing amidst flames and cloud scrolls, two further dragons decorate the exterior. The base has a four-character underglaze blue mark reading Zhi Yuan Tang Zhi within a double square.
8 in. (20 cm.) diam.
