AN IRON-RED 'DRAGON' SAUCER DISH
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The shallow dish is decorated in iron-red to the cavetto with two dragons amidst stylised clouds encircling a central dragon roundel. The exterior is embellished with two further dragons, the base with an underglaze blue four-character mark within a double circle reading Shi En Tang Zhi.
