A PALE CELADON AND RUSSET JADE TEAPOT AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The cylindrical teapot is carved in high relief to the exterior with branches of prunus growing from the shaped handle and spout. The flat cover is carved with a prunus branch finial. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with russet inclusions and veins.

Formerly in a private collection, acquired in London pre 2000.
