A CARVED AND PIERCED JADEITE TRIPOD CENSER AND COVER
The circular vessel with horned mythical beast handles with loose rings, the exterior carved in low relief with a central band of archaistic confronting dragons on a ground of keyfret scrolls. The cover is similarly embellished and surmounted by a Buddhist lion and its cub, all supported on shaped feet with mythical beast head terminals. The stone is of an apple green and celadon tone with pale russet veins.
