A JADEITE CARVING OF GUANYIN
The Immortal is carved wearing a headdress and loosely flowing robes, she holds a vase before her. She stands next to a lingzhi fungus and rests against the openwork branches of a gnarled tree trunk upon which is perched a long-tailed bird. The mottled pale celadon stone has apple-green and russet inclusions.
