A HONGMU CELADON JADE-INLAID TABLE CABINET
19TH CENTURY
The cabinet is of rectangular form standing on four square feet. It comprises of two sections, each with a double door opening to reveal a lower drawer in the bottom section. The doors are embellished with jade bats with pomegranates, peaches and finger citrons, all reserved on a geometric ground. The sides are carved with scrolling lotus in low relief.
23 3/8 in. high x 15 in. wide x 7 in. deep (59.5 cm. x 38 cm. x 17.8 cm.)
