A PAIR OF CIRCULAR YIXING GO COUNTER BOXES AND COVERS
19TH CENTURY
Each box is decorated with six panels, four incised with a fixed-ring monster mask handle design, the ring enclosing the characters da Qing Xian feng, interspersed with two poetic panels. Each cover has a recessed central section decorated with scrolls and surmounted by a leaf shaped finial. The base is marked with a four-character studio mark, and the underside of the cover marked with the address.
