MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The squat ovoid vessel has a waisted neck and everted rim. It is cast to the exterior with an archaistic frieze of stylised dragons on a leiwen ground interspersed with nine raised nodes above a similarly decorated lappet band. The patina is of a reddish-dark brown tone.
