A double-sided medallion: on one side a young gentleman with powdered hair, in blue coat, striped white waistcoat and knotted cravat; on the other side a lady with white mob-cap, dark blue dress, brown shawl with broad light green border within white double stripes (School of Jacques-Antoine-Marie Lemoine, c. 1800)
octagonal, 2 3/8 x 2 in. (61 x 50 mm.), hinged gold frame closed at the base by a cushion-shaped padlock
