Baluster with lobed lower body, applied with four medallions, two enamelled with dates '27 April 1889' and '15 October 1889', a further enamelled with the arms of the City of Berlin and the fourth applied with initials on a white enamel ground, the rim enamelled with an inscription, the cover with a finial with the German Imperial crown and applied with the Prussian arms on one side and a portrait medallion of Kaiser Wilhelm II, on a shaped base, applied on each side with figures emblematic of industry and science, with an enamel inscription on one side and an engraved view of the exhibition hall, applied overall with coloured pastes, marked on base and base of cup, the base further stamped 'H. Zacharias, Eft'
