LATE 18TH CENTURY
A set of eight, including two armchairs, each with a shield-shaped back with five curving splats radiating from a half sunflower patera, above a padded seat, on square tapering legs joined by H-stretchers and with spade feet, restorations, and four similar chairs with replaced splats and stretchers, one inscribed 'Shephard Sambley'
