Grigoriev presented his Savoy landscapes at a number of exhibitions in 1928, including; his solo exhibition held at Bernheim Jeune in Paris, a summer exhibition of Russian art at the Ruskin Gallery in Birmingham and the famous Chilean exhibition held in Santiago at the Museum of Fine Art at the end of the year.

We are grateful to Dr Tamara Galeeva, Senior Lecturer at the Ural State University, Ekaterinburg, for her assistance in cataloguing the present work.
