Archaistic in style, his slanted unarticulated eyes with heavy upper lids, his ridged arching brows merging with the bridge of his broad nose, the full beard composed of corkscrew curls with an overlapping mustache framing his smiling lips and terminating in volutes, his wavy hair center parted and gathered in a ring around the crown of his head, with two corkscrew curls descending before each ear, surmounted by a crescentic diadem embellished with rosettes
