CIRCA 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
Composed of multicolored tesserae on a black ground outlined in white above and below, from the border of a large floor, to the left a winged nude Cupid holding a spear in his raised right hand, his cloak in his left, held out in front, running toward a leaping antilope, portions of a scrolling acanthus to the left, with ornate flowers and other foliage in the field
