NOTE:
The calligraphy is a section from the Ninth Miscellaneous Poem at Chinchou composed by Du Fu of the Tang Dynasty:
Today I came to this pleasant place,
An inn standing beside a pond;
On a lowland surrounded by groves of emerald bamboo,
Under a sky half covered by towering willows.
It has witnessed many affairs, big and small,
Numerous messengers shouting and scouting around;
Had I got the chance of staying here,
Living in the country or a city would make no difference.
