2° (280 x 260mm). 27 original gelatin silver prints, each stamped 'épreuve originale Man Ray' on the reverse, the first one also signed by Man Ray in blue ball-point, each hinge-mounted on thick card; original engraving signed by Man Ray laid in. Original red morocco by M. Bueno, the upper side stamped in blind, spine lettered in gilt, gilt edges, marbled endpapers, in original matching paper-covered slipcase edged with red morocco (the sides slightly darkened).
FIRST EDITION. COMPLETE WITH ALL THE MAN RAY PHOTOGRAPHS AND THE SIGNED ENGRAVING. Each photograph with Man Ray's stamp on the reverse, the first one also signed by the artist. Copy XI of XV, signed by Man Ray, from an edition of 65 copies only. This surreal and erotic sequence dates from 1947, but was previously unpublished.
