Lot Essay

Hans Himmelheber (1908-2003) était un ethnologue, docteur en philosophie et en médecine. Il effectua des recherches sur le terrain, notamment en Côte d'Ivoire dans les années 1930, mais aussi en Alaska. Il publia de nombreux ouvrages dont certains sont devenus de véritables références, tels que Die Kunst der Dan en collaboration avec Eberhard Fischer.
