This type of floral pattern comes from porcelain or enamel vessels from the Kangxi and Yongzheng periods ; a Kangxi-marked enamel bowl is in the British Museum, illustrated by Jourdain and Jenyns in Chinese Export Art in the Eighteenth Century, London 1950, pl.109 ; a Yongzheng-marked painted porcelain bowl is included in the The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum - Porcelains with Cloisonné Enamel Decoration and Famille rose Decoration, Hong Kong, 2008, pl. 67.
