Rectangular with bevelled sides and raised border to cover, all chased with flowers around a vacant reserve, base engine-turned; also a Victorian silver table snuff box, mark of Edward Smith, Birmingham, 1848, the sides and raised border to cover chased with roses, thistles and daffodils on textured ground, the cover and base with engine turned bands separated by plain narrow stripes, vacant reserve to cover, in original fitted box retailed by J. Mayer of Liverpool
