The teabowl reserved with two shaped quatrefoil cartouches painted with merchants boarding a ship and figures in a small boat before a ruined castle, the interior with a purple camaïeu scene of a boat and figures on a riverbank, the saucer with merchants on a quayside within a double concentric iron-red line cartouche and sprays of indianische Blumen to the rim, the powdered purple ground reserved with further flowering branches, gilt rims (2)
