the silk leaf applied with three stipple engravings printed in colour on silk of Hobbinol and Candaretta by Petro Williams Tompkins after Gainsborough and Venus presenting Helene of Troy to Paris after Kauffman, the ivory sticks painted with simulated jasper plaques, pierced and gilt - 11in. (27.5cm.), circa 1780, in box inscribed 'Late XVIII cent. Pompeiian & wedgewood decorations & old prints'
