Lot Essay

US$40,000-60,000

With Max Büsser International Warranty Validated dated December 2012, instruction manual and leather wallet.

The present lot is in pristine condition and is for the first time offered at Auction.

MB&F keeps on surprising the world of watchmaking with each new releases coming out from the highly creative engineers behind each Machine. With Max Büsser helming the project, Jean-Francois Mojon and Kari Voutilainen join forces to create the new Machine. The concept behind LM1 was to imagine what Max Büsser would have created had he lived 100 years ago. The Legacy Machine No. 1 is surprisingly round and gives away the time rather easily. It's the first Machine in an entirely new line of watches from MB&F crafted with respect to the traditional core values of watchmaking. One of the striking points about the LM1 is the location of the balance wheel. Instead of its standard position at the back of the watch, the tailor-made 14 mm. diameter wheel floats above the movement and dials. Another unique feature is the worldwide first vertical power reserve indicator, a subtle MB&F touch that brings us back to the future.
