A FINE PAIR OF INCISED 'BAJIXIANG' YELLOW-GLAZED DISHES
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
Each dish is well potted with rounded sides rising from a short cylindrical foot, incised to the exterior with the Bajixiang, 'The Eight Buddhist Emblems', borne on a foliate scroll growing leafy tendrils. Each is covered inside and out with iridescent yellow glaze with the exception of the base which is covered with a clear glaze.
