A YIXING TEAPOT
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The teapot is well potted with a baluster body rising to straight mouth rim, with a C-shaped handle and angular spout. The countersunk base is impressed with the maker's seal mark, Shao Maolin zhi. The domed cover is surmounted by a rounded finial.
