Lot Essay

The portraits depict Thakur Sahib of Palitana (d.1885), Nawab Hamid 'Ali Khan Bahadur of Rampur (d.1930) as a child, the Maharaja of Kapurthala (possibly Jagatjit Singh Bahadur, d.1949), the Maharaja of Indore, Maharaja Pratap Singh (d.1925), Maharaja of Travancore Moolam Thirunal (d.1924) and three other unidentified rulers.
