PROBABLY KUTCH, NORTH WESTERN INDIA, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Comprising a tea pot, a creamer and a sugar bowl with cover, the teapot and sugar bowl with repoussé decoration depicting felines chasing and pouncing on their prey amongst scrolling flowers and foliage, the creamer with a cheetah, a parakeet and an elephant on similar ground, each with central shield cartouche, a handle modelled on a snake and with finials in the form of an elephant, each on four feet and marked V.K.
