With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1957 and its subsequent sale on June 19th of 1959.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

Reference 2536 was launched in 1954 and discontinued two years later. According to research, the present watch is one of only six examples of this reference in yellow gold to appear in public to date.

Reference 2536 is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by M. Huber & A. Banbery, second edition, p. 192, pl. 304.
