A late 19th century pearl and diamond brooch
Of trefoil design, each leaf set with a baroque pearl within an old brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the old brilliant-cut diamond single stone centre and diamond-set stem, later brooch fitting, central pearl untested for natural origin, circa 1890, 4.5cm long
The two smaller pearls accompanied by report no. 74800 from CISGEM Milan, dated 30th March 2012, stating that the pearls, weighing approximately 40.95 and 27.91 grains, were found to be natural, saltwater.
