A rare set of working lyrics in Jimi Hendrix's hand for the song Crosstown Traffic, 1968, the 26 lines written in black ballpoint pen [faded] on two sheets of yellow notepaper, the lyrics representing the first verse of the song and chorus and a working, unused version of the second verse with deletions as Hendrix worked out the song's wording It wouldn't be so bad, If I'm the only one you...A little advice my friend, This race you just can't win, I know that I'm not just the only one you try - To hitch up on a ride, Those tire [sic] marks on your back and even a few scooter tracks, Shows me you didn't just get from just sleeping on the road side, shows me I ain't the only, the lyrics mounted with a colour reproduction of two missing words of the first verse, in common mount with a sepia photograph of Hendrix and a corresponding plaque
