Lot Essay

The brooch and ashtray in this lot were found inside a Pan Am flight bag, which Jimi Hendrix carried with him on many occasions. Hendrix is pictured holding this bag in Mitch Mitchell's book Jimi Hendrix: Inside the Experience, p.77
