The first with slender blade of flattened diamond section cut on each face at the forte with a central fuller signed 'SEBASTIAN HERNANDEZ ME FECIT', iron guard comprising cup pierced with stars and with roped and punched rim, long straight quillons and knuckle-guard each with roped and punched stems en suite with the rim of the cup and with large button finials, wire-bound grip with Turk's heads, and spirally fluted and punched cushion-shaped pommel en suite with the guard; the second en suite with the rapier, with blade of flattened hexagonal section, wide ricasso of flattened hexagonal section pierced with two loops, struck with a mark on one side and hollowed for the thumb on the reverse, iron hilt comprising pierced triangular guard with turned edges, long straight quillons, wire-bound grip with Turk's heads, and cushion-shaped pommel all decorated en suite with the rapier hilt
