AN ITALIAN GUNNER'S STILETTO DAGGER
LATE 17TH CENTURY
With long slender blade of triangular section with turned ricasso, iron guard formed of short swelling spirally fluted quillons, swelling spirally fluted horn grip bound with copper-alloy wire and inset with small white horn pellets interspersed with silver and brass pins, and swelled spirally fluted pommel (some corrosion marking throughout, grip chipped)
